VISION
To facilitate honest Black–Jewish dialogue by acknowledging the full history of the relationship—including periods of Jewish participation in anti-Black systems and institutions—and by addressing contemporary Black American involvement of antisemitism, thereby building a foundation for trust, accountability, and genuine partnership.
MISSION
-
Provide a public virtual space for acts of teshuvah, tikkun, and chesed, where individuals may offer apologies, receive apologies, apologize on behalf of institutions or communities, or honor those who have modeled reconciliation.
-
Maintain a forum where historical and contemporary grievances can be acknowledged and addressed through dialogue and repair.
-
Invite organizations to publicly commit to opposing both anti-Black racism and antisemitism through a pledge of solidarity and accountability.
-
Facilitate conversations between non-Jewish African Americans and African American Jews to deepen understanding of the harm and danger caused by antisemitic rhetoric and beliefs.

CORE VALUES
A.N.T.I.
A — Apologize
Healing begins with honesty. We acknowledge harm, accept responsibility, and create space for sincere apology, teshuvah, and repair.
N — Normalize
We normalize difficult but necessary conversations about anti-Black racism, antisemitism, prejudice, and bias, fostering greater awareness, empathy, and understanding.
T — Theorize
We thoughtfully examine the roots of conflict and harm, seeking compassionate, practical, and sustainable solutions that promote justice and reconciliation.
I — Internalize
We listen to understand, reflect on our own assumptions and behaviors, listen to understand, and take personal accountability for creating a more just and inclusive community.
